Lincoln Deals

Lincoln deals, compared to Lexus deals, reflect the options made available through its parent company, the Ford Motor Company, a series of deals and incentives that include special financing through the company financing departments, recurring sales events, credit agreements, and special trade in arrangements. Lincoln cars are safe and reliable and are available for both private ownership and in their larger models, such as the Town Car in particular, are also a standard for chauffeuring arrangements.

Lincoln deals are currently available in the MKS, MKZ, MKX, and MKT sedans, as well as the Navigator, luxury utility vehicle of the group, and the renowned Town Car. In 2011, the models will expand to include the Hybrid MK7, which is estimated to get up to seven hundred (700) city miles to a gallon of gas.

Models and Features

The Lincoln MKS has a 3.7L DOHC (double overhead cam) 24-valve Duratec aluminum V-6 engine that renders up to 274 horsepower at 6250 rpm and 270 pound feet of torque at 4250 rpm. It has a front-wheel drive, 6-speed SelectShift AutomaticTM transmission with paddle activation for ease of use, intake variable cam timing (iVCT), electronic throttle control (ETC) and sequential multi-port electronic fuel injection that together support an Environmental Protection Agency estimated fuel economy output of sixteen to seventeen miles per gallon in the city, and twenty-three to twenty-four on the highways, while its antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and power 4-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors combine to keep it safe in a jam.

Its more luxurious comfort features include ambient lighting, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, front center floor console with armrest, storage and two cup holders, genuine wood accents in fine line ebony or olive ash on the
instrument panel.

Edmunds.com has this to say about the MKS's MKZ sibling. "The MKZ is Lincoln's representative in the entry-level luxury sedan category. As such, this midsize sedan, which is essentially a tarted-up Ford Fusion, is meant to provide a driving and ownership experience beyond what one can get from a non-premium branded sedan. Highlights of the Lincoln MKZ include a powerful V6 engine, available all-wheel drive and a distinctive, retro-look interior design.

Overall, our editors have been reasonably impressed with the MKZ as it shares the basic goodness of its Ford platform mate with more upscale design touches. With so many manufacturers trying to emulate the success of BMW's sporting 3 Series, the Lincoln MKZ could be a refreshing midsize option for consumers interested in a car outside of the norm."

The renowned Navigator, with a base MSRP of fifty-five thousand dollars is fitted with a 5.4L SOHC (single overhead cam) 3-valve V-8 Flexible Fuel Vehicle that deals three hundred and ten (310) horsepower at 5100 rpm and three hundred and sixty-five (365) pound feet of torque at 3600. It has a twenty-eight gallon capacity fuel tank, rear wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission with Tow and Haul mode, connected to its independent front and rear suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, variable-assist power steering, and power 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)

This luxury utility vehicle is enhanced with memory settings for driver-seat position, side view mirrors, power-adjustable pedals, and power-tilt steering wheel. Its interiors are defined by a leather- and wood-trimmed power-tilt steering wheel with memory and controls for audio, the Lincoln SYNC, a voice-activated communications system that lets drivers connect and operate their phones and music with simple voice commands, as well as cruise control and Navigation Systems.
